If you are going to do the grind, I would recommend pairing it with the Seasons of the Dragon achievement that rewards a Legendary Amulet provided you have all of the living world content. iirc, this achievement will reward you all of map currency required as part of the skyscale quest but you'll still need to do the skyscale events.

The skyscale is quite useful, dont listen to the naysayers whom doesnt know how to use it. The dash is essential to master. The skyscale excels in maps with considerable verticality like the hot maps, where youd be forced to swap to the springer or jump tediously on foot. The skyscale reaches many locations the griffon simply cant reach on its own.

I'm sorta working on the saddle and tbh I hate it. I have all the time in the world to farm for it but I'm just not. I occasionally pop on and passively hunt for the currency materials on the maps but I'm bored and sick of it after 20-30 minutes.
I agree. They could easily substitute doing the Keining Meta, or purchased for X writs of Keining in its place. Worse the saddle piece is not awarded immediately, but from the chest at the end of the strike that can sometimes bug. I actually managed to get it with an organized run by my guild. The mechanics of the fight are not difficult.
Finally got my Skyscale. [Other] I just want to share this happy moment, took me a long damn time to get it, stuck with saddle cause I didn't have resources, I gave up and was like I won't need this, but SOTO came out and realised how awesome skyscale is, I did all my flight Mastery, realise I was closer to the original collection than the SOTO EJL7BOI. 241 458 29 160 229 72 415 195 443
