Space is excellent, front and rear. In spite of the sloping rear roof, there's adequate headroom in the back, and generous legroom. The centre rear seat is a touch narrow, and there is a transmission hump in the floor, so three-abreast in the back isn't going to be easy, but it's just about doable.
Compared to the related Mk.1 C4 hatch, the C4 coupe was 13 mm longer (at 4273 mm), 4 mm narrower (1769 mm) and 15 mm lower (1456 mm); wheelbase length, however, was unchanged (2608 mm). The C4 coupe had MacPherson strut front suspension with lower wishbones and a torsion beam rear axle. 7V5P. 66 46 172 225 179 2 131 90 22
